Gloriana are currently in Australia opening for Taylor Swift on her national Fearless Tour. They perform at Rod Laver Arenea in Melbourne this evening. The response to the group from Australian audiences has been fantastic with their debut self-titled album currently at the top of the iTunes Country Album sales chart (at time of writing).

They won the fan voted Breakthought Artist of the Year award at last year's American Music Awards, beating Lady Gaga!

Gloriana's members Tom Gossin, Mike Gossin, Rachel Reinart and Cheyenne Kimball took the time to speak to HitCountry.TV this week about their music, success to date and time in Australia.

Emerging US group Gloriana will visit Australia next march and open for Taylor Swift during her big Fearless arena tour.

Gloriana's hit debut single 'Wild At Heart' features on Hit Country 2010 and their debut album will be released next year through Warner Music Australia.

Australia's Keith Urban won an American Music Award yesterday in the Favourite Male Country Artist category. The awards were broadcast in Australia on cable channel FOX 8. It's the first time Urban has won an American Music Award.

Taylor Swfit won five awards on the night and the big upset of the night was country group Gloriana's win in the Breakthrough Artist category. They beat out Lady GaGa to win that award.

Urban will now fly to Sydney to perform at the ARIA Awards in Sydney on Thursday night. He is nominated for an ARIA in the Best Country Album catagory alongside Jasmine Rae, Troy Cassar-Daley, Shane Nicholson and Felicity Urquhart.
